PROBLEMS WE FACED~

Image
CHALLENGES WE FACED DURING SHOOT Filming our horror film was an exciting yet exhausting journey. we faced many challenges like lack of internet. which made downloading audio files impossible causing delay in our shooting plan. Budgeting for meals was another challenge, as feeding the cast wasn’t planned and wasnt really fitting into our budget plan. To top it off, one cast member got scared mid-shoot, forcing us to replace her instantly. The biggest problem we faced was the location it was far from home, making pick-ups and drop-offs tiring, especially with school-going cast members. Weekday shoots had to fit their schedules and traveling at night felt unsafe. a thing that added more pressure was disturbing the family who was living in our chosen villa due to our late night shooting schedule. Shooting in a different city while attending college elsewhere made time management even harder.  Despite these obstacles, we stayed focused, solved problems efficiently, and successful...

SHOOT DAY 1

DAY 1     On day one of our shooting we shot the second half of our film opening. it was very hectic and long day and we went past our decided curfew time but still managed to pull everything off.        we started our day early in the morning me and my team mates went super early on our shooting location and created our set, went collected wood, mud and etc to make our imagination come to life. after a few hours we went to pick up our cast and started our shoot we had fun breaks in between to relax ourselves and to feel more motivated to shoot further

CHANGES IN SCRIPT

Image
WHAT CHANGED IN OUR SCRIPT?  During production, we had to make practical changes in our script. Originally, we planned to use a lantern for a haunting effect, but due to budget problems and safety risks, our main lead had chances of getting hurt so we opted for a candle stand instead. It was safer, more affordable, and still created the eerie ambiance we wanted. We also removed a scene where a red light glowed from the basement. On camera, it looked  too artificial or barely visible, so we decided to rely on shadows and suspense instead. These small changes reminded us that adaptability is key in filmmaking sometimes, simpler choices lead to better results.

AUDITIONS

AUDITIONS Me and my team got together to finalize the new cast for our upcoming project, and honestly, it was such a fun and creative experience. Everyone brought their own vibe, and it was really cool seeing people show their talents. Yeah, the process was a bit rough and hectic at times. we made lots of decisions that were last-minute. which wa a little chaotic but that’s what made it exciting. In the end, we all had a great time, laughed a lot, and just enjoyed the whole experience together. As the camera director, I took the lead in handling camera angles and making sure every shot captured the right perspective. I focused on framing scenes in a way that brought out the emotions we wanted to show. Throughout the process, I gave feedback to the actors, helping them get deeper into their characters and really bring them to life. I also pointed out little details we could improve to make their performances feel more natural and impactful. It was all about working together to mak...
