1st MEETING!


 HORROR?MYSTERY? OR THRILLER?

Selecting a genre is no easy feat, particularly since it forms the foundation of our entire project. Eventually, my team and I concluded that instead of choosing just one genre, we could blend elements from all of them. The real question then became: HOW do we achieve this?

In a meeting, we decided to focus on the Horror genre while infusing it with elements of thrill and mystery. Thus, we are excited to introduce "Seytan," our original short horror film that we plan to film, create, and edit! drawing inspiration from the renowned  horror film "Dabbe". Directed by our talented Hasan Karacadag, we aim to craft a story that is compelling, realistic, and engaging

The narrative will center around a young girl who is facing a demonic curse...To fuel our creativity, we have watched various clips from films like THE NUN, CONJURING, and S!]JIN. Currently, we are developing the storyline, setting, characters, and the roles we will need. Fingers crossed, our next update will feature the final draft so we can kick off the practical work!

seytan     Seytan is a haunting film that delves into the hidden world of black magic, revealing a social issue often overlooked in media. It follows a young girl who rises for Fajr prayer, only to sense an unsettling presence around her. As strange, eerie events unfold, she’s pulled into a terrifying ritual led by five women consumed by malice and envy.
