INTO THE UNKNOWN: Navigating The Risks of Filming In Remote

 LOCATION RISK ANALYSIS-VILLAGE FILMING

Our location is about 45 mins away and the route there is extremely bumpy with unpaved roads that could become hazardous. Specially as the night approaches due to it being largely abandoned.

KEY RISKS:

1. ROAD CONDITIONS:

  •   poor uneven roads which could cause delay.

2.TIMINGS & LATE RETURNS:

  •  returning after dark is extremely risky due to poor lighting and isolation.
  • Travelling late at night for girls is not safe in such areas.
3. SECURITY:
  • In a village which is kind off abonded security concerns could rise.
  • if our car break down on the way back or going no shops to get help from.
  • no proper signals to contact people.
4. BAD WEATHER:
  • Bad weather could make the road situation much worse.
5. LIMITED MEDICAL ACCESS:
  • All medical facilities are far incase of emergency the nearest hospital is 45 mins away.

Even with these risks we are still willing to shoot on our finalized location because we want our short film to be up to the mark and to turn out exactly how we imagined. we are extremely excited to start the shooting.
