Scene 1 (Act 1) - Opening Scene

INT. OUTDOOR COMMON AREA- NIGHT

The camera slowly pans as NEHA enters the common area. holding a prayer mat. She unrolls the mat and begins her prayer, her movements slow and deliberate.

NEHA
(whispers a prayer, kneeling on the mat)

As Neha prays, a gust of wind blows through the room, causing the lantern's flame to flicker erratically. The wind grows stronger, creating an ominous atmosphere.

NEHA
(startled, looks around)

The lantern goes out completely, plunging everything into darkness.

Scene 1 (Act 2)

INT. OUTDOOR COMMON AREA - NIGHT

Neha gets up quickly and moves toward the lantern, attempting to reignite it. She hears a strange, eerie light shining from the basement windows, catching her attention.

NEHA
(quietly, to herself)
What... is that light?

She hesitates, then turns away to pick up the prayer mat, but as she does, she hears unsettling murmurs in the distance.

NEHA
(nervously)
What’s going on?

Neha  ignores her fear and continues to follow the chanting, her footsteps echoing as she walks toward the basement ignoring her fear and continues to follow the chanting, her footsteps echoing as she walks toward the basement 

As she walks, a plant pot suddenly falls over, causing a loud crash. A cat meows faintly in the background, adding to the tension.

Scene 2 (Act 1)

INT. BASEMENT STAIRCASE - NIGHT

Neha reaches the staircase leading down into the basement. The chanting grows louder. She hesitates for a moment, but then continues, gripping the lantern tightly. Suddenly, a loud sound startles her, causing her to drop the lantern.

The lantern falls to the floor with a crash, its flame flickering out once again.

NEHA
(panicking)

Her breath quickens, and she glances around nervously.

Scene 2 (Act 2)

INT. BASEMENT - NIGHT

Neha finally descends into the basement, her body tense with fear. She freezes as she sees several WOMEN, gathered around a ritual circle. They are chanting in an ancient, guttural language.

The LEADER of the group, a sinister woman, quickly hands lemons with needles stuck in them to the others, her eyes dark with intent.

LEADER
(chanting loudly, voice commanding)
By the blood, we summon thee...

The chanting grows louder and more intense. The leader picks up a voodoo doll and begins to pour blood over it.

NEHA
(frozen and horrified)

As the leader pours the blood, Neha trips over on the floor, crashing to the ground with a loud thud.

Scene 3 (Act 1)

INT. BASEMENT - NIGHT

Neha scrambles to her feet, panic rising in her chest. She tries to run, limping as she struggles to regain her balance. But as she turns to escape, an unseen force suddenly grabs her.

NEHA
(screaming)

Her feet are dragged across the floor, her hands gripping the ground in a futile attempt to stop herself. some unseen force continues pulling her deeper into the basement.

Scene 3 (Act 2)

NEHA
(desperate screaming)

AHHHHHH!

Neha’s bloodied hands reach out in vain as she is dragged into the darkness, her screams echoing.

The screen goes black, the sound of her screams fading into silence.
