MEETING TO DEVELOP OUR FILM
SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT MEETING
After finalizing our script and location, we held a development meeting to align our visions and refine our ideas. One major inspiration was the film Cidgen, which had incredible cinematography. We were particularly drawn to its shot composition and decided to incorporate similar techniques, such as static shots, close-ups, and framing to amplify suspense and create a more immersive experience.
We modified key scenes, initially considering a ghostly hand on the lead’s shoulder but later sticking to the original pot-falling moment. Instead of Neha simply falling, we made her get dragged down the stairs for added horror.
To stay budget-friendly and safe, we swapped lanterns for candles. This meeting helped us shape a chilling, immersive experience that we’re eager to bring to life.
